Active Researches and Grants 

1.      GIF German Israeli Research Foundation: Modulation of L-type calcium channels by ZnT-1; mechanism and cardiovascular implications. With Prof. Arie Moran from the Physiology Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ben Gurion University of the Negev. 

2.      Basic Science in vivo studies (in collaboration with the physiology department; Dr. Ezion and Prof. Arie Moran) ZnT-1 and the onset of fibrillation 

a.       In animal model (rodents) of atrial fibrillation 

b.       In human atrial tissue. 

3.       Implantable Cardioverter Defibrlators (ICD): Several studies.  

4.       Autonomic Nervous System and Cardiovascular Diseases. 

5.       Genetics of atrial fibrillation. 

 

 Scientific Publications 

A total of 64 publications in medical journals in Israel and abroad have been published so far, and 111 abstracts have been presented in national and international conventions.
