מנהל המרכז הרפואי

המרכז הרפואי ברזילי באשקלון הוקם בשנת 1961 ומעניק שירותיו לאוכלוסיה של כ- 500,000 אזרחים בשגרה ובעת חירום בחבל ארץ המוגדר כפריפריה בערים אשקלון, אשדוד, קריית מלאכי, קריית גת, שדרות וחבל עוטף עזה.

המרכז הרפואי ברזילי מכיל 615 מיטות ועוד 64 מיטות אשפוז יום ועוד 46 עריסות ילדים. ומעניק שירותי רפואה ובריאות מתקדמים ביותר, הן באשפוז והן במערך המרפאות והמכונים.

המרכז הרפואי נמצא בעיר אשקלון ובשל מיקומו של המרכז וקרבתו לחבל עזה, וכפי שאכן ראינו בעבר, מוטלת עלינו, צוות המרכז הרפואי  לכל סוגיו, האחריות לטיפול רפואי והדאגה לבריאותם של אזרחים רבים המאושפזים או מפונים למרכז הרפואי בשל פגיעת טילים, כמו גם הטיפול בחיילים נפגעים בעת עימות.

הסגל הרפואי של המרכז מונה כ- 2000 אנשי מקצוע מתוכם כ- 300 רופאים.

המרכז הרפואי נמצא בתנופת  פיתוח בכדי לספק סביבה מתקדמת ומוגנת למטופלים בו.

The Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon was founded in 1961 and provides services to a population of about 500,000 people during peacetime and in times of emergency in a region defined as periphery, including the cities Ashkelon, Ashdod, Kiryat Malachi, Kiryat Gat, Sderot and the settlements around Gaza.

The Barzilai Medical Center has 615 inpatient beds and more outpatient beds and provides advanced medical and health care services, both during hospitalization and in large setting of clinics and institutes.

The Barzilai Medical Center is located in Ashkelon and due to its location and its proximity to the Gaza Strip, as indeed was witnessed in the past, we, the medical staff of all types, hold the responsibility for medical treatment and health care of the many citizens hospitalized or are evacuated to the medical center during missile attacks, as well as treatment of soldiers injured during conflicts.

The Center's medical staff includes about 2000 professionals, among them about 300 physicians.

Currently, the Barzilai Medical Center is in a momentum of development in order to deliver advanced and secure environment to its patients.
