Activity

The mother and newborn department is a unique department because of the concept that the mother and her baby are one and the nurse staff is trained to deal with both of them. It is a 46-bed department, with rooms of one bed only and rooms with three beds. The newborn wing is part of the maternity department and the mother can visit her baby any time. Each room has its own toilet and bathroom and personal closet. A big room specially designed for breast feeding is located inside the department.

We believe that labor is a unique experience and we want to offer the mother personal attention during her short stay. The mother can choose whether to have the baby lie beside her or in the newborn room. She can choose her meals from a rich menu and she can choose specially made meals according to the strict demands of the Jewish religion.

During her stay, the mother gets instructions about taking care of the baby, breastfeeding and exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor.

We believe that the new mother needs a lot of rest and that is why the security men are strict about the visiting hours. The visitors are advised to obey the orders.
