About the unit

The cardiology unit is a 12 bed department with all the necessary devices of monitoring patients with cardiac diseases or suspected having cardiac problems:

• Patients who need 24 hours monitoring to detect arrhythmias; 
• Arrhythmia ablation and electrophysiological study;
• Follow up after acute myocardial infarction;
• Uncontrolled heart failure;
• Follow up for chest pain.

Patients may be transferred from other departments or admitted from the emergency department.
