The volunteer day in Barzilai

Today more than 90 volunteers work relentlessly in our medical center, 62 of them are women. One may run through them everywhere every day.

More than 20 volunteers are dedicated to exercise the rights of old citizens within the action of "unique unit" of the ministry of social equality. Others give great support to women in the gynecology and obstetric departments including taking care of the newborn infants. Volunteers also run the synagogue at the Barzilai Medical Center for the employees, visitors and the patients of the hospital. In fact, they can be found everywhere, in the different hospital departments, operating theatre, laboratories, intensive care units, pharmacy, etc.

We want to thank each one of you for your intense effort for the sake of the medical center. Thanks to you, Barzilai is a big, strong, involved and caring family.

In that spirit we shall continue to work and win because "People are First".
